TASK:
Your role is to be a researcher helping to prepare the exhibit at the history museum. You will research how European Imperialism in Africa led to conflict, civil war and artificial boundaries. Taking your knowledge from the research you will have a choice of activities you can complete to be part of the exhibit.
These are the steps you will complete:
1. Students will work individually researching the history of Imperialism in Africa and complete Research Notes worksheet as they analyze the material given.
2. Students will have an enrichment opportunity after viewing political cartoons on the topic of Imperialism in Africa by creating their own political cartoon on the topic of Imperialism in Africa.
3. Student will have an enrichment opportunity to create a pamphlet explaining the changing of the boundaries in Africa during the time of imperialism and what the effects of these changes.
4. Share your work during the exhibit gallery.
